In Ramadan speech to Islamic country ambassadors, Iranian president says liberation of Palestine will solve all world problems.

In a speech published on his website Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the ultimate goal of world forces must be the annihilation of Israel.

Speaking to ambassadors from Islamic countries ahead of 'Qods Day' ('Jerusalem Day'), an annual Iranian anti-Zionist event established in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini and which falls this year on August 17, Ahmadinejad said that a "horrible Zionist current" had been managing world affairs for "about 400 years."

Repeating traditional anti-Semitic slurs, the Iranian president accused "Zionists" of controlling the world's media and financial systems.

It was Zionists, he said, who were “behind the scene of the world’s main powers, media, monetary and banking centers.”

"They are the decision makers, to the extent that the presidential election hopefuls [of the USA] must go and kiss the feet of the Zionists to ensure their election victory,” he added.

Ahmadinejad added that "liberating Palestine" would solve all the world's problems, although he did not elaborate on exactly how that might work.

“Qods Day is not merely a strategic solution for the Palestinian problem, as it is to be viewed as a key for solving the world problems," he said.

He added: "Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom.”

The Iranian president said that Israel reinforced "the dominance of arrogant powers in the region and across the globe" and that Arab countries in particular - he cited Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria and Turkey - were affected by Israel's "plots."

Ahmadinejad, who has called the Holocaust a myth, has previously called for Israel's annihilation, in a 2005 speech in which he used a Persian phrase that translates literally as "wiped off the page of time."

Nazi propaganda website starts operation in Iran, government censors do nothing

A pro-Nazi association now operates a Persian-language website in Iran, promoting anti-Semitism and memorializing Adolf Hitler, apparently with the approval of the Iranian government and its censors.

The site, Nazicenter.ir, features videos of Nazi leaders and pictures of Hitler, and praises the Third Reich for nearly conquering the Western world. It also includes a public forum whose members routinely discuss their hatred of the Jewish people.

The site’s primary goal, its administrators write, is to confront the “story of the Holocaust, which without a doubt has been taken advantage of in contemporary history.”

Iran’s Islamic regime strictly regulates all forms of communication. Hundreds of websites have been banned, and Iranians’ online access to the free world is severely restricted. But a Nazi propaganda website is consistent with the proclamations of Iran’s military and political leaders, who have both denied the existence of the Nazi Holocaust and called for the destruction of Israel.

The chief commander of the Iranian armed forces, Maj. Gen. Hassan Firouzabadi, announced the doctrine of the Islamic regime in a recent speech. “The Iranian nation is standing for its cause,” he said, “and that is the full annihilation of Israel.”


Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has openly called Israel a “cancerous tumor” that should be cut out. And Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has repeatedly denied the Holocaust occurred.

Nazicenter.ir is hosted on a Web server in Germany and administered by two individuals who also own the Internet domain “NaziClub.ir.”

Hezbollah MP Walid Sakariya told Lebanese television this week that the nuclear weapon Iran is allegedly developing is intended to annihilate Israel.
In a segment recorded and translated by MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute), Sakariya, also a retired general, told his interviewer on Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV Tuesday that should Iran acquire a nuclear weapon it would serve Syrian as well as Iranian interests, namely the eradication of the Jewish state.
“This nuclear weapon is intended to create a balance of terror with Israel, to finish off the Zionist enterprise, and to end all Israeli aggression against the Arab nation,” Sakariya said.
“The entire equation in the Middle East will change,” he asserted.

Mensen verbonden aan de Iraanse Revolutionaire Garde zeggen het openlijk in Mashregh, de media outlet van de Garde : ja, Iran heeft massavernietigingswapens, en ja, terroristische groeperingen die gesteund worden door Iran worden bevoorraad door Iran, ook met WMD's. Rogue state threatens Israel over Syria

Israel will be obliterated by chemical, microbial and nuclear bombs, Iran is warning, but those weapons of mass destruction will be used first on Tel Aviv by Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad at the start of a decades-old Muslim dream of destroying the Jewish state.

An alarming commentary last week in Mashregh, the media outlet of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, confirmed that the Islamic regime not only has WMDs but has armed its terrorist proxies with them. Mashregh speaks for the regime.

It warned Israel that if the fighting in Syria does not stop, an all-out attack on the Jewish state will be launched and that at zero hour, Tel Aviv will be the first city to be destroyed.

“The threat to retaliate against Israel with weapons of mass destruction is credible,” said Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, executive director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security, who previously served on the House Armed Services Committee and with the CIA. “A highly credible source in 2005 warned that a decision had been made at the highest level of the Iranian government to arm numerous ballistic missiles with chemical and biological warheads to retaliate against Israel if Iran’s vital interests were endangered. The fall of [Syrian President Bashar] Assad would constitute endangerment of Iran’s vital interest.”

The commentary said that for 18 months, Israel, with all its power, has tried to reshape Islamic movements that have targeted the “Zionists” into a conflict between Muslims, with Syria at the center of its efforts.

The Mashregh column charged that Israel is behind the Syrian crisis in order to strategically change the geopolitics of the region and defeat one of the main players in the Islamic world’s “resistance front.” It warned Israel that with the direction it has chosen, “There is a dead end, and the threat of mass killing awaits.”

The commentary recalled the doctrine of the founder of the Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini: “If they stand against our religion, we will stand against their world. If all this bloodshed is to provide a better future for Israel, we will destroy their world.”

The lengthy analysis claimed that several forces are involved on both the diplomatic and military fronts to break the Syrian “resistance front.”

It cited Turkish forces on Syria’s border with that NATO country but also claimed there are American forces along the Golan Heights and in Jordan, and Saudi, Qatar and French forces at the Syrian border with Lebanon.

“Their defeat from the fronts within [Syria] and the movement of their forces on the borders are signs that the world’s Zionists have lost hope on the capability of [anti-Assad] terrorists against Syrian forces and now are looking for an opportunity to get the armed forces of others involved,” the commentary said.

A strategic look at the situation in Syria, it said, shows that in order to safeguard Damascus and Bashar Assad’s regime, it is necessary to destroy “the center responsible for these destructions, which will force the enemy to retreat.” To that end, Iran will break “the security of Israel by targeting Tel Aviv.”

The commentary, citing the weak economies in America and Europe, said that in an all-out confrontation between the “resistance front” and Israel, the West will stay out of it, not wanting to fight Syria with a military of 220,000 military personnel and 240,000 reserves, Iran’s massive forces and Hezbollah.

Should Israel and its allies succeed in unraveling Syria so the legitimate Assad regime loses control, the commentary said, there are but two scenarios:

“Groups armed with weapons of mass destruction (chemical, microbial and nuclear bombs), which have been obtained on the black market, will surely target Tel Aviv.

“Other countries with different motivations from revenge to a change in the balance of power in the region looking for the elimination of Israel from the world’s map will use the chaos created without accepting any responsibility.” (Right below this point, Mashregh put up a picture of an atomic blast.)

“Who can guarantee that armed groups or certain countries have not already armed themselves with weapons of mass destruction or that weapons of mass destruction obtained from the former Soviet republics after the fall of Soviet Union will not find their way into Tel Aviv?” the commentary asked. “It is best to stop the violence in Syria or the order to attack will be issued.”

As I reported last October and again recently, several sources have confirmed that Iran obtained at least two nuclear bombs from former Soviet republics and several neutron bombs possibly from North Korea. Iran and Syria also hold a large stockpile of chemical weapons.

“Although I have no current factual information about a possible Iranian biological weapons program, Iranian circumstances, past behavior and policies make it virtually certain that Iran has such a program,” said Fritz Ermarth, former chairman of the National Intelligence Council. “This means that, should they choose to do so, Iran’s leaders could put biological weapons in the hands of their own commando teams or terrorist groups they trusted for covert delivery in attacks on Israel or the U.S. or other targets. Hence, the threats of such WMD attacks should be taken seriously. They may be bluster, but of the most dangerous sort.”

Beter nu oorlog dan later, het Westen kan zich toch niet op tijd herpakken. Zodra een oorlog tussen Israël en Iran uitbreekt zullen er ook sporadische aanvallen plaatsvinden in Europa. Kleine Europese groepjes zullen opstaan en iets doen, maar ondanks dat ze zichzelf redelijk intelligent zullen vinden zal de impact van de desastreuze Westerse opvoeding blijken. Ze zullen neergeslagen worden met harde hand en hun eigen Europeanen zullen ja knikken terwijl het gebeurt. Niet anders dat Europeanen niet eens bewogen toen Pim Fortuyn vermoord, niet omdat dat moest, maar alleen omdat hij om ons gaf.

De man had niet eens kinderen. Wat een verdorven cultuur waar je alles kan opofferen voor een volk en niemand opstaat. Niet zo héél verwonderlijk als je bedenkt dat de OIC - het kartel van derde wereld dictaturen, theocratiën en seriële mensenrechtenschenders - de VN de afgelopen jaren zowat naar zijn pijpen laat dansen. De VN zijn ook behoorlijk pro-Palestina geweest de afgelopen jaren, en Israël heeft het wel eens te verduren gehad van de VN. Dat de oorlogstaal van bv. Iran (lid van de VN en zelfs van een aantal commissies en raden) niet opgemerkt of zelfs bewust genegeerd wordt, verbaast mij eerlijk gezegd weinig.

Rapport IAEA: Iran verdubbelt nucleaire capaciteit

Iran bereidt zich voor op een omvangrijke uitbreiding van de verrijking van uranium in een versterkte ondergrondse faciliteit. Het aantal centrifuges voor de verrijking van uranium in Fordow is meer dan verdubbeld van 1.064 in mei tot 2.140.

Dit blijkt uit een donderdag gepubliceerd rapport van het Internationaal Atoomenergieagentschap (IAEA). De nieuwe machines zijn nog niet in werking.

Uitgebreide activiteiten
De nucleaire waakhond van de Verenigde Naties maakt ook melding van 'uitgebreide activiteiten' op het Iraanse militaire complex Parchin.

Dit duidt volgens het IAEA op opruimwerkzaamheden om het onderzoek naar de mogelijke ontwikkeling van kernwapens te belemmeren, mochten VN-inspecteurs daar toegang krijgen.

De installaties in Fordow zijn diep begraven in een berg, ter bescherming tegen vijandelijke aanvallen. Volgens sommige analisten bereidt Israël een aanval voor op het streng-islamitische land.

Westerse diplomaten noemen de verdubbeling van de verrijkingscapaciteit in Fordow 'een zorgwekkende trend'. Iran blijft erbij dat zijn programma vreedzaam is.

Sudden stop: Canada cuts ties with Iran, closes embassy, orders diplomats home

OTTAWA - Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird delivered a diplomatic bolt from the blue Friday, abruptly and unexpectedly severing ties with Iran, shuttering Canada's embassy there and giving Iranian diplomats in Ottawa five days to get out of the country.

Baird rattled off a litany of long-standing grievances with Iran during a news conference in the Russian city of Vladivostok, where he and Prime Minister Stephen Harper are participating in this weekend's meeting of Asia Pacific Co-operation leaders.

"The Iranian regime has shown blatant disregard for the Vienna Convention and its guarantee of protection for diplomatic personnel," said Baird, adding that the government on Friday formally listed Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism.

"Under the circumstances, Canada can no longer maintain a diplomatic presence in Iran. Our diplomats serve Canada as civilians, and their safety is our No. 1 priority."

Diplomatic relations between Canada and Iran have been growing ever more strained in recent years, but there was no immediately apparent catalyst for the decision to cut off all ties.

Officials at the Iranian embassy in Ottawa did not return calls Friday. People showed up outside the imposing red brick building seeking passport-related services, only to learn from a note on the door that the embassy had closed up shop.

"Because of the hostile decision by the government of Canada, the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ottawa is closed and has no choice but to stop providing any consular services for its dear citizens," said the note, written in Persian.

Ordinary Canadians were also being warned Friday to avoid any travel to Iran.

In his news conference, Baird justified the move by reciting familiar complaints that Canada and others around the world have been making for months, if not years.

He cited an eight-month-old attack on Britain's embassy in Tehran as evidence that Canada's own diplomats there are in danger.

He also accused Iran of providing military assistance to the Assad regime in war-riven Syria, failing to comply with UN resolutions regarding its nuclear program, and "materially" supporting terrorist groups.

And, for good measure, he accused Iran of "routinely" threatening the existence of Israel, engaging in racist anti-Semitic rhetoric and incitement to genocide, and called the country "among the world’s worst violators of human rights."

"Canada," he said, "views the government of Iran as the most significant threat to global peace and security in the world today."

A spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry, Ramin Mehmanparast, called Canada's decision "hasty and extreme" and said that Iran would soon respond, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

The timing of the move also left experts puzzled.

"There are many issues involved here — human rights abuses, the nuclear ambitions, the support for Syria — but in terms of why now, and why not six months ago, why not a year ago, there's no answer to that," said Paul Sedra, a history professor at Simon Fraser University.

"So I can't really see the rationale behind taking the move and this point and I think that really reduces the effectiveness of the step."

Houchang Hassan-Yari, a Middle East expert from Queen’s University and Royal Military College, said Baird was using inflamed rhetoric that could have negative consequences.

"Certainly, the Islamic regime is a regime that is difficult to deal with," Hassan-Yari said.

"This is a regime that treats its people very, very wrong. This is a regime that, in the past, has shown its ability to disregard international law. But to conclude that it is the greatest threat, the more imminent, peace and security, in my opinion, it's a bit far to go."

The decision to sever ties came amid revelations of a sharp argument last month between the Israeli prime minister and a senior U.S. official over Iran.

Reports in the U.S. and Israeli media suggest that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lost his temper with a senior U.S. congressman during a meeting last month over what Israel sees as a lack of serious American action against Iran's nuclear program.

The West believes Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons program, but Tehran denies the charge. It says it only wants to develop peaceful nuclear energy.

Media reports quoted Netanyahu applauding a bold move by Canada.

"The determination shown by Canada is of great importance in order for the Iranians to understand that they cannot go on with their race toward nuclear arms," the prime minister said in a statement.

"This practical step must set an example of international morality and responsibility to the international community."

Mehr, a semi-official news agency in Iran, said the Canadian decision was "in accord with the U.S. hostile policy" against Iran and that it "served Zionists."

There has been speculation for months that Israel could move unilaterally to attack Iran's nuclear capabilities; Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently referred to the Jewish state as a tumour that would soon be excised.

Baird was careful to make clear Canada wasn't aware of a pending military action — "Unequivocally, we have no information about a military strike on Iran," he said — but Sedra mused nonetheless about what exactly the Canadian government knows.

"If Ottawa has heard something from the Israelis that something is imminent, I think that's a very, very significant cause for concern."

Canada's relations with Iran have been iffy since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. After Canadians spirited American diplomats out of Tehran in 1980 during the post-revolution hostage crisis, the Canadian embassy was closed for eight years.

The two countries slowly moved back to normal diplomatic relations with an exchange of ambassadors in 1996.

But the relationship chilled in 2003 after Zahra Kazemi, a freelance photographer with dual Canadian-Iranian citizenship, was killed in custody in Iran in what Canada described as a state-sanctioned murder. Canada recalled its ambassador.

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called on his people to prepare for a war and the End of the World.

Mohabat News -- In his recent message, Ayatollah Khamenei warned the Iranian people of the coming of the Mahdi, the Hidden Imam, the last and awaited Imam who will appear for the Doomsday to save the world and impose Islamic world order.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the coming of the Mahdi was prophesized in the Quran and all Iranians were to prepare for it.

He said that, if the Iranian people believed themselves to be the soldiers of the Twelfth Imam, they should get ready to be led by Allah to the war to help the Islamic civilization triumph over the world.

"It is our destiny," the Iranian spiritual leader concluded.

Local media report that Tehran has been circulating a brochure titled "The Last Six Months," urging officers to brace themselves ahead of the Mahdi's arrival and the last standoff with the West.

Iran's Revolutionary Guards cautioned Israel and the US they had no information as the kind of warheads Iranian missiles may carry.

Iran: explosieven in materiaal reactoren

TEHERAN - Iran beschuldigt Siemens van sabotage. Het Duitse bedrijf zou installaties voor het Iraanse nucleaire programma hebben geleverd, waarin explosieven zouden zijn gevonden. „Deskundigen hebben het plan van de vijand verijdeld. Siemens moet zijn daad uitleggen”, zei het Iraanse parlementslid Aladin Borujerdi zondag tegen staatsmedia. Borujerdi is voorzitter van de commissie veiligheid en buitenlandbeleid van het parlement.

Siemens spreekt de berichten tegen. Sinds de Iraanse revolutie van 1979 doet het bedrijf geen zaken meer met het nucleaire programma van de islamitische republiek, zei een woordvoerder tegen Duitse media.

Iran is al enkele jaren bezig met het bouwen van kernreactoren. Volgens Teheran moeten die onder meer kernenergie opwekken, maar het Westen vreest dat het land in het geheim werkt aan een atoombom. Vier kerngeleerden zijn in de afgelopen jaren vermoord en een deel van het nucleaire programma kwam stil te liggen door een uitzonderlijke computerworm, Stuxnet genaamd.

Spionagerots ontploft in Iran

QOM - Een spionagerots nabij een Iraanse nucleaire installatie heeft zichzelf opgeblazen toen Iraanse militairen te dichtbij kwamen. De Britse krant The Sunday Times meldde dat zondag.

Het gaat om een neprots vol met spionagespullen. Militairen van de Iraanse Revolutionaire Garde naderden het ding vorige maand, omdat ze computer- en telefoonlijnen moesten controleren. Na de ontploffing ontdekten deskundigen dat de spionagerots allerlei computergegevens kon onderscheppen van de nucleaire installatie Fordo nabij de stad Qom.

De bronnen van The Sunday Times meldden niet welke spionagedienst de neprots had neergelegd. Wel bekend is dat Israëlische, Britse en Amerikaanse spionnen een oogje proberen te houden op de omstreden nucleaire acties in Iran, omdat het Westen vreest dat Iran een atoombom bouwt.

Iran could launch pre-emptive Israel strike-commander

Iran could launch a pre-emptive strike on Israel if it was sure the Jewish state was preparing to attack it, a senior commander of its elite Revolutionary Guards was quoted as saying on Sunday.

Amir Ali Hajizadeh, a brigadier general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made the comments to Iran's state-run Arabic language Al-Alam television.

"Iran will not start any war but it could launch a pre-emptive attack if it was sure that the enemies are putting the final touches to attack it," Al-Alam said, paraphrasing the military commander.

Hajizadeh said any attack on Iranian soil could trigger "World War Three".

"We can not imagine the Zionist regime starting a war without America's support. Therefore, in case of a war, we will get into a war with both of them and we will certainly get into a conflict with American bases," he said.

"In that case, unpredictable and unmanageable things would happen and it could turn into a World War Three."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made increasing hints that Israel could strike Iran's nuclear sites and has criticized U.S. President Barack Obama's position that sanctions and diplomacy should be given more time to stop Iran getting the atomic bomb.

Tehran denied it is seeking weapons capability and says its atomic work is peaceful, aimed at generating electricity.

"The Zionist entity is militarily incapable of confronting Iran ... the circumstances of the region do not enable it to wage war tomorrow or even in the near future," Hajizadeh said.

"Our response will exceed their expectations," he said. "Their assessment of our missile capabilities is wrong. Our response will not only be missiles."

Israël: 'Rode lijn tegen bom Iran'



NEW YORK - Premier Benjamin Netanyahu van Israël heeft donderdag opzien gebaard met zijn speech voor de Algemene Vergadering van de Verenigde Naties in New York. Gewapend met een grote tekening van een bom betrad hij het podium. Netanyahu gebruikte de opmerkelijke illustratie om zijn zorgen over het atoomprogramma van Iran kracht bij te zetten.

“Dit is een bom en dit is een lont”, legde de Israelische premier zijn publiek ten overvloede uit. Iran heeft al 70 procent van de hoeveelheid verrijkt uranium die nodig is om een atoombom te bouwen. De internationale gemeenschap moet daarom nu een streep zetten door de nucleaire wensdromen van Teheran, waarschuwde Netanyahu. Met een rode stift zette hij vervolgens een dikke streep net onder de lont. “Rode lijnen leiden niet tot oorlog, rode lijnen voorkómen oorlog”, aldus de premier.

Netanyahu vergeleek het bewind in Teheran met terreurnetwerk al-Qaeda. ,,Het maakt niet veel verschil of deze wapens in handen zijn van de gevaarlijkste terroristische organisatie of van het gevaarlijkste terroristische regime'', concludeerde de regeringsleider van de Joodse staat. Het overleven van zijn land staat op het spel, benadrukte Netanyahu.

De toespraak zorgde direct voor veel reacties bij politiek commentatoren en publiek op sociale media. Her en der kreeg hij bijval, maar veel andere mensen spreken van een potsierlijke actie waarmee Netanyahu zijn doel voorbij is geschoten.

De Iraanse president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sprak woensdag voor de Vergadering. Voor de verandering deed hij dat nu juist eens zonder zijn gebruikelijke woedende uitvallen tegen Israël.
