At a series of peace conferences attended by politicians scientists and spiritual leaders, he will co-ordinate the drawing up of a global constitution
Fr. Laurence Ricci, S.J. (d 1775) "At.. gathering(s) of men noted for piety and wisdom, he will.. introduce new rules".
St Francis of Paola (1470) "He shall reform (the world).. with the help of.. the best men upon earth in holiness, in arms, in science, and in every virtue".
Bartholemew Holzhauser (d 1658) "There will be many wise and just men.. and peace will be established over the whole earth".
Sister Marianne (d 1804) "All injustices will be repaired, civil laws will be formed in harmony with the laws of God".
There will follow a long period of peace and prosperity:
Monk Hilarion (d 1476) "The Eagle
will ... bring much happiness".
Johannes Amadeus de Syloa (d 1482) "All nations (will) unite under the Great Ruler.. and peace and prosperity will follow".
St. John-Mary Vianney, Curâ of Ars (19th-Century) "(He will) re-establish a peace and prosperity without precedent".
St. Bridget (14th-Century) "..and the earth shall enjoy peace".
St. Hildegarde "Peace will return".
Prophecies concerning this figure are not confined to Christian texts, they are found in a number of different traditions from Baha'ism to Zoroastrianism:
Abdul Baha (Baha'i faith) "He.. will subdue the world by spiritual power, not by war and combat; he will do it with peace and tranquility, not by the sword and arms".
Zoroaster in The Zend Avesta (Favardin Yast 13: 129) "He shall be the Victorious Benefactor by name, and World Renovator by name".
Buddhism also predicts a great and wise world ruler, the Gautama Buddha made this prophecy:
"An incomparable leader of men.. will establish his law, glorious in its spirit and in the letter.. His disciples will number many thousands while mine number many hundreds".
The "Great Monarch Prophecies" do not agree on everything however. We are told that he will be born, variously, in England, France, Germany, and the Mideast, with several prophets putting their own countries forward as his possible birthplace! Some say he will be royalty, but more often we are told he will be from an ordinary background:
Jeane Dixon (mid-20th-Century) "There was nothing kingly about his coming.. no kings or shepherds to do homage to this newborn baby".
Until his rise to global prominence the Great Monarch will have a low profile:
Imam Ali ibn Abu Talib's Nahj'ul Balagha, Khutba 141, 187 "He, in the beginning, will be a poor stranger unknown and uncared for.. With such a start he will establish an empire.. in this world".
Such is his lowly status, people around him will be astonished to discover his true identity:
Sister Marianne (d 1804) "....whom people will seek, that before did not esteem him".
The Catholic mystic Anne Catherine Emmerich, writing in 1820, names him Henry:
"I had a vision of .. (the Great Monarch) Henry. I saw him at night kneeling alone at the foot of the main altar in a great and beautiful church.. and I saw the Blessed Virgin coming down all alone.. Mary came up to Henry, and she extended her right hand towards him.. She urged him not to falter".
We are given a physical description of Henry, by the 17th-Century visionary David Poreaus:
"The Great Monarch will (have a).. high forehead, large dark eyes, .. and brown hair".
This corresponds with a description of him in Kalki Purana, II(3), 15-16.
Not surprisingly, given that many of the prophecies concerning the Great Monarch predict he will overcome Islamic extremism, Moslem writings about this figure are ambiguous. Some Moslems call him Dajjal, meaning "impostor":
"Dajjal will travel the entire world and request the Earth to surrender its treasures, which it will willingly do.. When Dajjal appears, there will be no part of the world left which he will not dominate".
Dajjal is also described in Kanz al-Ummal:
"The sea will be ankle-deep for him. Underneath him will be a white ass. The length of each one of its ears will be 30 yards, and his one step will be the distance of a day's journey".
The "white ass" with 30-yard long ears could be a description of an airplane.
Al-Bukhari 77:68-92 reads: "When Dajjal appears, his complexion will be white and his right eye will be blind, while the left eye will shine like a bright star".
In Moslem symbology, a man's right side is heaven and the left side is hell. Accordingly, Dajjal will be a Caucasian who is spiritually blind, yet illuminated with hellfire. He will possess all things that would appear pleasant to him and his followers, but which will be repulsive to Believers.
Native American prophecies also say he will be Caucasian, but they portray him as a wise and kind man:
"My people await Pahana, the..White Brother, as do all our brothers in the land. He will not be like the white men we know now, who are cruel and greedy. We were told of their coming long ago. But still we await Pahana."
Mary No-Eyes, an elderly Shoshone woman, was blind but gifted with clairvoyance and prophecy. Before she died in the 1980s she prophesied in broken English about the White Brother, who she called Phoenix:
"Earth Mother in bad labor. She gonna give birth to something great .. It be great Phoenix that gonna rise up.. He already here .. He been forming for years now.. She gonna give up great Phoenix soon".
The Lakota Sioux call the White Brother "White Buffalo." In 1994 a rare white buffalo calf was born in Wisconsin; in 1996 another was born in South Dakota. These births have been taken as a sign that White Buffalo is already among us.
Just as Moslem fundamentalists have responded to prophecies which predict the Great Monarch will subdue Islamic extremism, by portraying him as an evil impostor, some far-right Evangelists have tried to do the same. They are fearful that by uniting the nations of the world, the Great Monarch will undermine not only the global dominance of the United States, but also the moral authority of the organized Church.
Many have gone so far as to denounce him as anti-Christ, as prophesied in the "End Times" of the Old Testament. One of the few facts known about anti-Christ is he will be born of Jewish parents. This is based on the authority of The Bible itself (Daniel 11.37, "Neither shall he regard the God of his Fathers..")
In about 950AD, at the request of queen Gerbera of France, Monk Adso brought together several centuries' of prophecies about the anti-Christ. From his research, Monk Adso concluded:
"Our authors say the Antichrist will be born from the Jewish people .. from the tribe of Dan".
This same point been been emphasized by a number of Evangelical commentators and churchmen down to the present day:
John L. Benson "Antichrist will be a Jew".
Hal Lindsay "This person.. is going to be a Jew. Many believe he will be from the tribe of Dan".
Jerry Falwell "He will be Jewish, and he will be from the tribe of Dan".
Most Great Monarch prophecies agree however that the Great Monarch will be born a Catholic. He will precede anti-Christ by several centuries, and rather than being a force for destruction he will be a man of peace who will bring much benefit to the world:
Abbot Werdin d'Otrante (13th-Century) "The Great Monarch .. will precede Antichrist."
Telesphorus of Cozensa (d 1388) "(He will) bring universal peace".
Monk Hilarion (d 1476) "The Eagle will ... bring much happiness".
St Caesarius (469-543 AD) "An admirable peace shall reign among men during many years".
Abbe Souffrand (d. 1828) "The Great Ruler will perform such great and noble deeds that (even) the Infidels (Moslems) will be forced to admit the working of God's providence. Under his reign the greatest righteousness will be practised and the earth will bear in overabundance".
Jeane Dixon (mid-20th-Century) "(He) is the answer to the prayers of a troubled world".
Sa'id ibn-I Jabir relates that the Prophet Mohammed himself had a vision of the Great Monarch. Mohammed called him "Imam Mahdi", and he spoke of him as a just and peaceful man:
"He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, just as it will have been filled with injustice and oppression."
Hindu religious texts also speak of a great world leader and statesman, known as "Kalki", whose mission is to unite the nations of the world and usher in a golden age of peace, prosperity and harmony:
Vishnu Purana 4:24 "He will establish righteousness upon earth; and the minds of those who live at the end of the Koli age, shall be awakened, and shall be as pellucid as crystal".
We are told in Kalki Purana, I(3), V.25 that he will fly all over the world on a white horse (a white airplane?)
Kalki Purana, I(3), Verses 9 & 10 tell us that he will be assisted by two world figures allied to him, apart from the leader of the country he is born to, and many other supporters.
Kalki's Golden Age corresponds with the Age of Aquarius predicted by New Age followers. Astrologers believe evolution goes through cycles corresponding to the signs of the zodiac, each lasting about 2000 years. New Age advocates say we are now moving from the cycle associated with Pisces (the fish, for many centuries a symbol of Christianity) into one associated with Aquarius, the age of universal peace and harmony:
"A great world leader will soon appear to usher in a new age of universal peace and prosperity. His charisma and magnetism will enable him to establish an international community...""He will not be a man of miracles, but a man of practical knowledge".
In Alice Bailey's 1955 Aquarian classic 'The Rays and the Initiation', we are told the Great Monarch will lay the foundations for the New World Order in England, the US and the USSR.
New Age prophet Benjamin Creme has written (in 1982) that the Great Monarch is alive and living in London England where he is an ordinary man concerned with modern problems:
"(He) is now here.. He comes not to judge but to aid and inspire.. With his help we will build a new world".
"He is not a religious leader, but an educator in the broadest sense of the word - pointing the way out of our present crisis."
Astrologers are clear on one further detail: as the initiater of the 'Aquarian Age' the Great Monarch will be starsign Aquarius.
Many Great Monarch prophecies have only come to light since the mid-1990s, with the growth of the World Wide Web. There are literally hundreds of prophecies about this figure on the Web from all over the world, only a handful them recorded here.
Most of these prophecies are centuries old, predating even the invention of the printing press (and presumably therefore not widely circulated at the time) but despite this all most all are remarkably similar.
As we have seen, many of these prophecies suggest he will be born a Catholic. But as a young man, the Great Monarch will be far from pious:
St. Francis of Paola (1470) "In his childhood he will be like a saint; in his youth a great sinner; then he will be converted entirely to God and will do great penance; his sins shall be forgiven him, and he shall become a great saint."
He will turn for assistance to the Pope, who will be a very saintly man:
St. Caesarius, Archbishop of Arles (469-543 AD) " ... This prince shall extend his dominion over the entire universe. At the same time there will be a great Pope, who will be most eminent in sanctity and most perfect in every quality".
Despite his sinful past, the Great Monarch will eventually be welcomed by the Great Pope. The two men will work closely together to achieve world peace:
Werdin d'Otrante (13th-Century) "The Great Monarch will come to restore peace, and the Pope will share in the victory."
Abbot Joachim (born 1480) provides a clue as to the Great Pope's surname: "This glorious pontiff('s) name shall begin with 'R'".
St Malachy O'Morgair (died 1148) calls the Great Pope "The Glory of the Olive". St. Benedict established the order of the Benedictines (or "Olivetans" as they are popularly known) and this name offers a further clue to the Great Pope's identity.
So what do these prophecies tell us?
In the wake of a conflict between Islam and the West, a man will emerge from the shadows to galvanize the world’s nations into putting aside their differences and uniting as one.
Variously known in prophetic writings as "the Great Monarch" or "the Eagle", he is a Caucasian Catholic. He was born on or around February 5 1962, and his starsign is Aquarius. In 1982, according to the prophecies, he was living in London, England. He has a high forehead, large dark eyes and brown hair, and his first name is Henry.
The Great Monarch is in many ways an ordinary person. He comes from an ordinary background, and he has a less than perfect past. But inspite of his personal failings he is a wise and charismatic figure . He will bring about great change not by force, but through quiet diplomacy.
He will fly thousands of miles around the globe to hold talks with world leaders. He will persuade them to come to the conference table to discuss global unity and peace. His campaign will gather momentum rapidly, and his network of supporters will be far-reaching. Together with experts in politics, economics and diplomacy, he will set about the long and complex process of drawing up a global constitution. The foundations for this New World Order will be laid in England, the US and the former USSR.
From the outset the Great Monarch will meet with violent opposition from Islamic fundamentalists and some far-rightwing Evangelists, who will feel threatened by what he is trying to achieve. They will attempt to undermine him by denouncing him as a force for evil. But he will receive huge support from the majority of peoples worldwide, who will recognize him as a man of peace.
He will receive particular support from two international figures, one of them the Pope. The Pope will work closely with the Great Monarch in achieving world unity. This Pope is either a Benedictine or he will have a close association with St Benedict. The Pope's surname begins with letter 'R'.
Following on from these extraordinary events, mankind will experience several centuries of peace and prosperity, a "golden age" when the world is largely free from warfare, injustice and poverty.
Sounds too good to be true? Maybe, but read on.
If these prophecies are correct, the Great Monarch must be alive today. As well as Shoshone, Lakota Sioux and Aquarian prophecies all saying he is now living, we are told by other commentators he was born in the 1960s and he was living in London in the early 1980s.
Looking at the times we live in, world events certainly are in line with the prophecies. There is a conflict between Islam and the West, which looks set to escalate, just as was prophesied. The Pope's surname begins with letter 'R' (Ratzinger) and his papal name is Benedict. These coincidences are interesting enough.
But what about the "Great Monarch" himself? Given his supposed age (early/mid 40s) and the size of the task ahead of him, he must come to prominence soon. But if he really does exist, why has he never been identified? After all, how many Caucasian Catholic politicians or diplomats are there from London, England with high foreheads, large dark eyes and brown hair, who are starsign Aquarius, born on or around 5 February 1962 and called Henry? The field must be so narrow as to be practically non-existent! So where is he?
The simple answer is: in Europe. For there is one man at the University of Oxford who matches the Great Monarch's profile exactly; not just in terms of his occupation or politics, but also his birth date, name, race, starsign, nationality, religion, physical description and background.
Henry Harris Lines is one of Europe's leading scholar-diplomats. He is Director of the Institute for Socio-Economic and Political Studies, and Executive-Director of an international humanitarian organization, The Schweitzer Institute (You must be logged in to see this link.). He was born in London, England on 6 February 1965. He is Caucasian, starsign Aquarius and a Catholic. He has a high forehead, large dark eyes and brown hair (see his photo at You must be logged in to see this link. and click on Henry Harris Lines)
In May 2006 Lines published a report, "Towards Global Integration", which calls for worldwide political unity: "With a centrally-administered international peace corps to replace national militias, global peace would be significantly more secure, and arms expenditure could be correspondingly reduced ... The UN Development Program estimates that .. less than 6% of the existing global arms budget, if effectively and transparently administered, would be enough entirely to eliminate world hunger, backwardness and poverty" (You must be logged in to see this link.)
His objectives are clearly summarized in the report: to bring an end to warfare, starvation and poverty. And if this sounds far-fetched or crazy, there are plenty of influential people who are backing him. Lines's "One World" campaign has been quietly gathering momentum, and he has built up an extensive and powerful network of supporters. The Schweitzer Institute is organizing a series of conferences "exploring models for global governance" (that is, drawing up an international constitution.) Their next conference is taking place at Oxford University early in 2007, and it is being attended by some of the most influential politicians, diplomats and spiritual leaders from around the globe. Such is the reach of their campaign that commentators have already suggested it is only a matter of time before they become unstoppable- and starvation, poverty and human degradation become things of the past.
Despite the public nature of his work, Lines keeps a low personal profile and he doesn't give interviews. His office have refused to be drawn on the topic of the prophecies, inspite of our requests, other than a somewhat terse dismissal of prophecy in general as "nonsensical."
Who knows, they might be right? But then again..http://mm2001.forumco.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=581
