I’d like to thank Tom Trento for inviting me to sunny South Florida for the launch of The United West. Coming from frigid Vienna, it is a delight to feel the warmth and enjoy the sun for a change!

I was quite surprised to learn that Florida is one of the hotbeds for radical Muslims in the United States. What brings them here? Do the palm trees and sand remind them of the oases back home?

In any case, they’re here. So why should we worry about Islam?

It’s just a religion, like Judaism or Christianity. We’ve been told not to let a few violent radicals discredit a great religion.

Yes, we’ve all heard these words before. But they are only pretty lies.

Violence is deeply embedded in Islamic theology, and especially in Islamic law, or sharia. Violence is endemic in Islam because its scriptures and law require Muslims to be violent in order to protect Islam and extend sharia throughout the world.

Sharia has already come to my country, and to most of the rest of Western Europe. By accepting the European Union’s “hate speech” laws, European countries are effectively enforcing sharia for their Muslim citizens.

I learned this from personal experience. As most of you know, I was convicted of “hate speech” last month in a Vienna court. The count on which I was convicted was “denigrating the religious beliefs of a legally recognized religion.”

My “crime” was to give seminars in which I told the truth about Islam. By explaining that Mohammed had sex with a nine-year-old girl — which Islamic scriptures declare is true — I “denigrated” the teachings of Islam. I was convicted for saying that “Mohammed had a thing for little kids”.

Well, he did, didn’t he?


But it doesn’t matter, not in Austria. In Austria the truth about Islam, as told by Islam itself, is an insult to Islam.

It would be a joke if the consequences weren’t so serious.

So now it seems we must all learn to shut up and keep our heads down while sharia descends on our countries. As Geert Wilders said: “The lights are going out all over Europe.”

But it’s not just Europe. Sharia is coming to America, too.

It begins with little things, like prayer rooms and footbaths and special prayer breaks for Muslim employees. Then comes “Sharia-compliant finance”, which sounds so innocuous.

Then come the restrictions on speech that offends Muslims.

Such restrictions are already here in the United States. Yes, you have the First Amendment to protect your God-given right to free speech, but that has not been enough to prevent ordinary American citizens from being silenced.

Consider the case of Derek Fenton, a New Jersey state public employee who was fired from his job for burning pages from the Koran at Ground Zero last September 11th. He was expressing his own personal opinions in his off-duty hours. He was exercising his constitutional right to free expression, but it didn’t matter — he lost his livelihood anyway.

Or consider the case of Molly Norris, the Seattle cartoonist who was forced to change her name and go into hiding for drawing the mildest of cartoons about Mohammed. She received a death fatwa, and the FBI told her there was nothing it could do to protect her.

In Kansas and Michigan, Christians were arrested for handing out gospel literature on the public sidewalks of Muslim neighborhoods. They were not charged with “racism” or “incitement to religious hatred” as they would have been in Europe. But there are plenty of laws on the books — “disorderly conduct”, “breach of the peace”, “loitering”, and so on — that have been used to stop them.

It doesn’t take a Constitutional amendment to end free speech in America. Apathy in the face of oppression is enough to do the job.

Free speech is already under assault.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am here to declare a solidarity between Europe and the United States. None of us has to face the Islamic menace alone.

We don’t have to be atomized, alienated, and demoralized. If we work together to resist sharia, we will be victorious.

There are enough of us to make a difference, but we have to be dedicated and resolute. We must band together with like-minded people and fight back.

And this is already happening. Umbrella organizations like this one are being formed to gather together the courageous people who have decided to make a stand. After 9-11, after the Times Square Bomber, after Ft. Hood, and now after the murders in Frankfurt, people are becoming truly aware of what is at stake.

Many fine groups such as the Florida Security Council, the Center for Security Policy and ACT! For America — of which I am Austrian chapter head — are doing the necessary work to resist the international jihad. Our goal should be to increase the connections among groups on both sides of the Atlantic and help them find the resources to be effective.

I took on this job for the sake of my daughter. I looked around at what was happening to my country — burqas and honor killings and female genital mutilation, all the wonderful “cultural enrichment” that comes with sharia — and thought about the kind of world she will have to live in when she grows up.

She is six years old now. What will the streets of Vienna be like when she is sixteen? Or twenty-six? Or thirty-six?

How can I live with myself if I do not at least try to prevent my country from surrendering to Islam?

This is not a job that any of us would have chosen to do, but it is the job that has been chosen for us. Our children and our grandchildren will never forgive us if we fail to act now, while successful action is still possible.

Last weekend I reported on the ideological screening meted out to Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff at the Miami airport when she arrived in the United States to speak at the launch of The United West.

A Dutch delegate to the same event underwent something similar, only his experience took place on the other side of the Atlantic, just prior to his departure from the Netherlands. It’s significant — and ominous — that he was grilled by both Dutch security officers and US Immigration officials at Schiphol Airport. When he arrived in Florida he was also questioned by representatives of the Department of Homeland Security.

It doesn’t require a full-fledged case of paranoia to recognize that something funny was going on in Amsterdam last Thursday. The Dutch and the Americans were obviously co-ordinating their efforts, and each group was reading from the same playbook — one written by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Here’s the Dutch delegate’s report of what happened:

  When I showed up at Schiphol (Amsterdam) Airport on March 3 for my travel to Florida the following most strange discussions occurred.
  
  At the gate Dutch people were interviewing all passengers who wanted to board. As soon as I showed my documents that dealt with the meeting I was attending, the supervisor took over the questioning and wanted to know why this meeting was being held.
  I explained it was about the threat of Shariah and radical Islam.
  
  The next question was: “Can you give an example of that?” The hairs rose on my neck upon hearing that question; it was as if I had to take an exam on the topic.
  As I’m a very simple man with some feeling of honor, I immediately replied: “What kind of question is that?”
  
  The supervisor became angry: “I think that’s a very good question.”
  Since I really wanted to get on the plane I decided to play along and answered him: “There is a plan to make it illegal to speak negatively about Allah or Muhammad.”
  
  The supervisor followed up by asking: “Who is doing that?”
  I answered: “The OIC, the Organization of the Islamic Conference.”
  
  The supervisor was still not satisfied and asked: “Which Dutch political parties are backing this?”
  I replied: “The Christian Union is not against it.”
  
  The supervisor: “Ah, a truly important party, but not really.”
  Me: “They also force halal food upon others.”
  
  He: “So what? Isn’t there also kosher food and Hindu food?”
  I understood by now that this man just wanted to prove how wrong I was, and wasn’t interested in performing his job: looking for potential terrorists or other unwanted passengers.
  Me: “One is never forced to eat kosher food, now, is one?”
  
  The supervisor now wanted to know if I was a member of the EDL, a name he had seen on my documents.
  I explained the EDL has no official members and yes, I’m a sympathizer of the Dutch and English Defence Leagues.
  
  That was it: I had to be searched from top to toe. In addition, another man took over the questioning. He wanted to know if I publicized the meeting. I said no, because I had the feeling he was trying to make me look like a journalist — and it is illegal to work as a journalist in the US without permission. He remarked that I had an expensive hobby and said after reading my documents that I could also do all that by e-mail communication and therefore didn’t need to travel to the US.
  
  When all this was over, an officer from US immigration wanted to speak with me. The plane was now almost leaving. He tried to lecture me that Islamic terrorists are actually crazies, and their acts have nothing to do with Islam. He asked me: “Don’t you know that Christianity is also violent, don’t you know about the Crusades?”
  I explained him I had no problem with peaceful Muslims, just with political Islam. He said that what I was doing is “discrimination.” He asked: “Do you use violence?” I reassured him that I would never do that.
  
  Upon arriving in the US, I was sent to an office of Homeland Security and asked questions about my role in obtaining donations for my American friends.

Wie bijzonder kritisch naar de islam kijkt, moet er sinds kort rekening mee houden als zieke of zelfs als crimineel in diskrediet gebracht te worden. Waar doet dat toch aan herinneren?

Nadat hij tijdens een televisiediscussie had beweerd dat de meerderheid van de drugsdealers “zwarten of Arabieren” zouden zijn, werd de Franse columnist Eric Zemmour (“Le Figaro”) onlangs door een rechtbank in Parijs wegens “aanzetten tot racisme” veroordeeld. Dat zelfs de – socialistische – ex-minister van binnenlandse zaken Jean-Pierre Chevènement hierover had verklaard dat Zemmour alleen maar “de realiteit zou hebben uitgesproken”, maakte geen indruk op de rechters.

Ook de Deense journalist Lars Hedegaard moest zich voor de rechtbank verantwoorden voor zijn in privésfeer gedane uitlating dat vrouwen in de islam “geen andere waarde, behalve als broedmachine” zouden hebben (vrijspraak, echter slechts op formele gronden).
In Oostenrijk echter werd, zoals bekend, Elisabeth Sabbaditsch-Wolf veroordeeld, omdat zij zich op een voor rechtsvervolging in aanmerking komende wijze over het seksleven van de profeet Mohammed had uitgelaten.

Zelfs op de veeleer brave politiechef van Hannover, Uwe Binas, werd onlangs openlijk kritiek geuit, omdat hij de criminaliteit van buitenlandse jongeren in zijn stad met de ongedwongen formulering “blijkbaar neigen deze groepen daders tot andere conflictoplossingstrategieën dan Duitsers” had becommentarieerd. Maar Binas behield in ieder geval zijn baan – anders dan Thilo Sarrazin, wiens opvattingen hem, zoals bekend, zijn baan als lid van de raad van bestuur van de Bundesbank hebben gekost.

Des te meer zulke gevallen openbaar worden, des te sterker wordt in de publieke opinie de indruk dat de vrijheid van meningsuiting in het Europa van de 21e eeuw wel eens ten einde zou kunnen komen; en vooral als het om de islam en de – overwegend islamitische – migratie naar Europa gaat (dat iemand zijn baan is kwijtgeraakt, omdat hij zich niet passend heeft uitgelaten over de christelijke Here God, is immers al lange tijd niet meer voorgekomen).

Die indruk is helaas niet helemaal fout. Enerzijds wordt in de meeste Europese landen de vrijheid van meningsuiting d.m.v. steeds restrictievere wetten steeds meer beperkt, meestal onder het mom van de bescherming tegen discriminatie. Anderzijds dreigt in de publieke discussie de morele knots “islamofobie” voor iedereen, die het op een bepaalde manier niet in orde vindt dat voor veel hier levende moslims de westerse waarden overbodig lijken te zijn.

En “islamofobie”, zo heeft de Turkse minister-president dat aan ons uitgelegd, zou immers een “misdaad tegen de menselijkheid” zijn. Wie dus kritiek heeft op de islam, is “islamofoob”. Of in ieder geval een “paniekzaaier”, zoals de feuilletonchef van de Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) Patrick Bahners zijn onlangs verschenen “brandschrift” tegen de zogenaamd woekerende “islamofobie” wenst te noemen.

Het dient helaas niet echt de zaak van de openbare “republikeinse discussie” (Jean-Pierre Chevènement) om kritiek op de islam – ook al zou deze in individuele gevallen overtrokken zijn – in het gunstigste geval af te doen als ziektebeeld (“fobie”) en in het ergste geval als strafbaar feit (“aanzetten tot discriminatie”) te sanctioneren. Ten tijde van het Sovjet-communisme werden dissidenten geesteszieken en/of criminelen genoemd. De liberale Europese rechtsstaat bezit niet het recht om het vertegenwoordigen van meningen, ook al zouden ze in individuele gevallen nog zo afwijkend zijn, met gelijksoortige methodes te vervolgen.

Islamkritiek: niet ziekelijk, maar heel gezond!

Farid Hafez, een zogenaamde expert op het gebied van islamofobie, doet dus uitspraken over mijn persoon. Goed zo, want tot op de dag van vandaag werd mijn zaak immers volledig door de Oostenrijkse media genegeerd [volgens het motto “absoluut niet aanraken”]. Ik zou het echter veel belangrijker en prettiger vinden als Hafez zich zou bezighouden met de inhoud van mijn [talrijke] toespraken dan [ad Hominem] ten strijde te trekken. Maar precies dat doet hij niet, net zoals zoveel andere verdedigers het verzuimen mij en de vele andere critici van de islam (wij zijn niet anti-islam, maar tegen de islamisering, die geen “waanidee”, maar realiteit is!) met ter zake doende argumenten te antwoorden. Het zijn juist deze verdedigers, die permanent van het zakelijke niveau [omdat ze te verslaan zijn met hun eigen documenten] overgaan naar het emotionele niveau.

Ik ga er van uit, dat meneer Hafez de inhoud van de koran, de Ahadith en de Sira (de biografie van Mohammed) kent. Ik ga er daarom ook van uit, dat meneer Hafez de meer dan 200 koranverzen kent, die tot haat en doodslag tegen de zogenaamde kafirs (islamitische naam voor ongelovigen, dus voor niet-moslims) oproepen en die iedere week in moskeeën in der hele wereld gepredikt worden. [Verder ga ik er van uit, dat meneer Hafez bekend is met het concept van abrogatie, die enkele oudere Mekkaanse verzen door latere, Medinese en wezenlijk vijandiger verzen bindend vervangt].
Meneer Hafez, ik “beweer” niets, ik bewijs slechts de oproepen tot geweld door uit de koran te citeren [voordat men mij beschuldigt van willekeurige, uit hun verband getrokken woorden: er zit geen verband in de koran, want de verzen zijn op lengte gerangschikt en niet op een bepaald verband. Maar deze dingen weet meneer Hafez heel goed].

[Maar daarop gaat meneer Hafez, net zo min als al die andere vertegenwoordigers van de islamitische geloofsgemeenschap, niet in]. [Maar] het is immers veel simpeler om de inhouden te negeren en in plaats daarvan de boodschapper van de inhouden te beschimpen [en slecht te maken]. Dat geldt voor mij net zoals voor Geert Wilders. Juist het gebruik van “globale kruisridders” ontmaskert meneer Hafez die heel goed bekend is met het traktaat van de Organisatie van de Islamitische Conferentie [ - per slot van rekening de wereldwijd op één na grootste organisatie], [want] de OIC is toonaangevend in zake islamofobie. Het maakt [immers ook] helemaal niets uit dat een fobie een irrationele angst is en islamcritici zeker op geen enkele manier irrationeel zijn, maar zich al jarenlang met de leren van de islam bezighouden. Er bestaat geen islamofobie, er bestaat alleen de angst van de linksen en de islamisten dat gewone mensen geïnformeerd worden over de ware islam.

Verder jammert Hafez over “deze uitsluiting van de als ´anders´ gemarkeerde mensen, die geen kwestie van vrijheid van meningsuiting is.” Daarbij wil slechts 3% van de Turken trouwen met een autochtone vrouw, terwijl het voor Turkse vrouwen in het algemeen verboden is om te trouwen met niet-Turkse mannen of ongelovigen, in tegenstelling tot de 80% Russische immigranten, die zich niet gedwongen voelen een “zuivere gelovige” in het geboorteland te zoeken. Wie sluit wie uit, meneer Hafez?

En is eermoord in dit verband niet gewoon het topje van de ijsberg? Als een vader tegen zijn zoon zegt dat hij de dochter de keel moet doorsnijden, omdat ze misschien te bevriend is geraakt met ongelovigen, is dat niet een soort “uitsluiting van de als anders gemarkeerde mens”? Laten we echter in dit verband ook niet de predikers vergeten, die iedere week dankzij de koranverzen 7:166 – “En toen zij overtraden, hetgeen hun was verboden, zeiden Wij tot hen: "Weest verachte apen", 2:65 – “Je hebt degenen onder u gekend, die inzake de Sabbath overtraden. Alzo zegden Wij tot hen: "Weest verachte apen" en 5:60 – “Zeg: "Zal ik u vertellen over degenen wier straf bij God erger is dan dit? Dezen zijn het, die God heeft vervloekt en over wie Hij Zijn toorn heeft uitgestort en van wie Hij apen, zwijnen en duivelsdienaren heeft gemaakt. Dezen zijn inderdaad in een slechte toestand en ver van het rechte pad afgedwaald" de Joden apen en varkens noemen en ze daarom uitsluiten.

Meneer Hafez betwijfelt o.a. ook mijn wereldbeeld. Ik kan het hem uitleggen [want het is heel eenvoudig]: ik sta voor absolute vrijheid van meningsuiting, democratie, de universele rechten van de mens (in tegenstelling tot de islamitische verklaring van de mensenrechten van Cairo uit het jaar 1990), pluralisme, gelijkheid van man en vrouw. [Ik vraag u:] Wat is daar verwerpelijk aan?

Afsluitend bedank ik meneer Hafez voor zijn diagnose op afstand dat mijn opvatting “ziekelijk” zou zijn. Ik voel me [echter] kerngezond.

I am a woman of words, and I have nothing to do with violence, which I categorically reject.
In addition, I reject all worldviews that justify the use of violence. In this rejection, I do not care whether the ideology commands its power with the help of guns or swords.

On the problematic concept of ‘anti-Muslim discourse’

I believe that everybody here, both the representatives of the participating states and of non-governmental organisations, share a common goal of upholding liberty, peaceful coexistance and respect for diversity, in line with the OSCE purpose of upholding democracy and freedom.

It is a fact that over the last decades, many of the participating states have experienced increased cultural diversity, in great part due to immigration from other parts of the world. This has in many cases led to unexpected friction and conflict, and there is still potential for considerable further conflict. It must be our goal to dismantle such conflicts before the erupt causing material harm.

This meeting has been called with these objectives in mind.

However, there are in the meeting agenda some fallacies that deserve correction, or the results might end up being counterproductive to the overall objectives of the OSCE. Let me point out the more obvious ones:

Trying to steer public discourse is at odds with the core concept of freedom of expression.

It is not made clear in the agenda if ‘anti-Muslim discourse’ includes criticising Islam.
Singling out Muslims for specific protection constitutes an act of discrimination itself.
Anti-Christian anti-Jewish hate crimes are more common than anti-Muslim ones.
National law protecting citizens’ rights apply equally well to Muslims as to others.

In brief, there is no good reason to single out Muslims as being in need of special protection, as Muslims have the same fundamental rights as any other citizen.

No such discussion, however frank and honest, should be considered directed against individual adherents of a faith, and hardly an issue of concern at government level.

Attempting to resolve conflicts in society by controlling the public discourse is usually a futile approach, as we saw in Eastern Europe decades ago, and at odds with the objectives of the OSCE.

The International Civil Liberties Alliance discourages pursuing this strategy further.

NOTE: I said at the end that I was very concerned about the undemocratic teaching of the Koran and that I would continue speaking out on this matter

Judge Leo Levnaic-Iwanski upheld the verdict of the lower court, which convicted Elisabeth on the charge of “denigration of religious beliefs of a legally recognized religion.”
The judge found that the length of time her trial had taken was excessive, and that her fine should be reduced. A new date will be set in the lower court for the announcement of the fine.

Een Oostenrijkse politiek activist is in hoger beroep veroordeeld tot een boete van 480 euro voor het 'minachten van religieuze leerstellingen'. In 2009 hekelde ze in een toespraak de seksuele relatie van de islamitische profeet Mohammed met een negenjarig meisje.

Dat meldt de Oostenrijkse krant Der Standard donderdag.

Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff sprak in 2009 de jongerenafdeling van de Oostenrijkse vrijheidspartij FPÖ toe. Daarin zette ze Mohammed neer als 'een relatief grote vrouwenverslinder' die, volgens de Koran, ook seks had met kinderen.

Spottende toon
De rechtbank, die zich in zijn uitspraak baseert op Europese jurisprudentie, vindt dat de vrijheid van meningsuiting is gekoppeld aan de plicht om anderen niet te beledigen.

Sabaditsch-Wolff had wel mogen zeggen dat Mohammed seks had met kinderen, maar de 'spottende toon' waarop ze dit deed, staat gelijk aan belediging en is daarom strafbaar, aldus de rechter.

Ook liet de rechter niet na te stellen dat Sabaditsch-Wolffs beschuldigingen aan het adres van de islamitische profeet 'objectief gezien, volkomen onterecht' zijn.

Zwarte dag
De vrouw is geschokt over haar veroordeling. Ze spreekt van 'een zwarte dag voor Oostenrijk' en belooft de boete niet te betalen.

Christian Zeitz, een wetenschapper uit Wenen, zei op een persconferentie dat de rechtbank een grens heeft overschreden. De islam geniet volgens hem extra bescherming. Zeitz wijst erop Oostenrijkers die het christendom bespotten, nooit worden veroordeeld.

Amerikaanse grondwet
Volgens de PVV'er hebben Europese landen 'dringend' een Eerste Amendement nodig, zoals de grondwet van de Verenigde Staten dat kent.

Het artikel verbiedt het Congres om wetten aan te nemen die een staatsgodsdienst creëren of een godsdienst boven een ander plaatsen, het recht op vrijheid van godsdienst verbieden, de vrijheid van meningsuiting of de persvrijheid belemmeren of de vrijheid van samenkomst hinderen.

Dear Dr Levnaic-Iwanski:

I protest most strenuously against the conviction of Mrs. Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff according to § 188 for statements she made in the context of an Islam seminar in the FPÖ party-sponsored course.

This conviction represents a political abuse of § 188 StG and is an offense against the human right of freedom of expression. It is not Mrs. Sabaditsch-Wolff, but the actions of Mohammed himself which derogate him and his teachings. She was instead convicted because she spoke a truth that was very uncomfortable for the ruling party. It is no coincidence that FPÖ was also sitting in the defendant’s seat.

If the judgment had had anything to do with justice and the defense of civil standards, then it could not have protected Mohammed — in view of the fatal effect of his example up to now — from “denigration.” Quite the contrary! By protecting Mohammed from “denigration,” Austrian justice denigrates itself.

The Decision

The Superior Court confirmed the verdict, although with a somewhat different reasoning. While the lower court regarded pedophilia as factually completely unjustified, the higher court judged the remark “liked a little something with children” to be an extreme evaluation. Only the isolated explanation that Mohammed had sex with a child was allowable.

In supporting the verdict, there was explicit reference to the Winter case and the disposition of the European Court of Justice:


Dr. Susanne Winter was convicted by the superior court in Graz under § 188 StG on the basis of her statement that Mohammed in present understanding is a child abuser.

According to the ECJ, the constitutional right of freedom of expression includes making shocking and insulting statements, but the practice of this right is tied to duties and responsibility — pre-eminently in connection with religious doctrine. Thus, there is the obligation to refrain even from true statements if they are baselessly insulting.

The example was given of mocking a handicapped person because of his handicap. The handicap is a fact, but the mockery is a baseless insult.


Political Justice

This example is so skewed that it says everything about the political character of the verdict. Here, indeed, criticism of and profession of contempt for a person (Mohammed) because of his action, which even according to Austrian law (!) is a crime, is placed on a level with mockery of an unfortunate (handicapped person).

The whole process of the trial — from the placing of the complaint to the justification
of the verdict — show that this was a political process. Should any further proof be needed, it is provided by the systematic non-use of § 188 StG in cases of mockery and ridicule of Christianity and its sacred figures.

Justifications of the verdict — from thread-bare to crazy

Mrs. Sabaditsch-Wolff and/or Susanne Winter judged Mohammed with the designation pedophilia or child abuse just as they would any other person — that is, by his actions and not his claim, which is contradicted by them.

It is the action and not the designation that derogates Mohammed and Islam.

The “denigration” which makes both defendants “guilty” in the eyes of Austrian justice consists of truth, insofar as they called the deeds of Mohammed by their name “without regard to the person” (a pillar of European law, if I am not mistaken), and in so doing gave expression to a politically very uncomfortable truth.

And as far as the expression “liked to have a little something with children” is concerned, this was not said without reason. because Mohammed’s behavior in this respect still today sets the norm. It legitimizes not only marriage with children, but sanctions pedophiliac behavior.

Islamic legal scholars from Morocco to Indonesia (among them the largest Moslem organization in Indonesia, NU, which is considered the “most moderate”), still sanction marriage to children. In many Islamic countries, there is not even a minimum age for marriage. And even where state law provides one, e.g., in Turkey, marriages to minor girls are not rare, And such cases are known in the Muslim communities in Europe and in the West in general.

So pedophilia itself in the strict sense can be pursued “legally”. Furthermore, a Muslim may at any time put aside his wife with no grounds and even take several new ones. Both Shi’ites an Sunnis are acquainted with the “timed marriage” and the time can be as short as desired. Islamic law, based on the sayings and deeds of Mohammed, does not put limits on pedophiliac abuse. Rather, it fosters it.

And the legal abuse of girls paves the way for the sexual abuse of boys.

Bottom line: Anyone who does not speak with scientific exactitude about Islam and its Prophet, uses language carelessly or goes so far as to measure his still normative acts and words by European standards and Austrian legislation (!) commits a crime in the eyes of Austrian justice (!) — cultural relativism to a tee.

Politically uncomfortable truths

Mrs. Sabaditsch-Wolff and Mrs. Winter were not found guilty because they denigrated the religious doctrines of Islam — the actions of Mohammed and the doctrines of Islam manage that themselves — but because they spoke politically extremely uncomfortable truths: that Islamic law (sharia) and therefore Islam contradict “our social standards and laws.”

This conviction was intended to make an example, since Mohammed was guilty of quite different and far more uncomfortable acts: assassination, mass murder, campaigns of war and pillage, enslavement and slave trading, rape, extortion, etc. Anyone can read about this in the basic texts of Islam: Koran, hadith and sira (official biography of Mohammed).

All these are actions directed against non-Muslims, which are likewise justified in sharia, Islamic law. This is a law that has all the characteristics of a law of conquest and occupation, and claims a temporal and spatial universality as an allegedly “divine” law.

That this claim has lost none of its validity is directly demonstrated for us. Not small minorities, but great majorities speak for the dominance of sharia — in the Arabic world in votes and in Muslim communities in Europe in polls. And the OIC (with its 57 member countries representing the entire Islamic world) has for years tried to impose on the whole world the most important of all the conditions of sharia — “No one may criticize Islam, and each must honor it as the ‘religion of peace and tolerance’” by Islamizing the UN human rights organization.

Islam is by no means only a religion. It is a political ideology with a totalitarian claim. Criticism of Islam is not just our right, but, from the standpoint of human rights, it is our duty.

A very uncomfortable truth for governing parties: They should accept responsibility for a completely irresponsible immigration policy and put an end to a mass immigration that has become a runaway process. It is no coincidence that in both cases the FPÖ is sitting at the defendant’s table.

In the indictment, it is not against Islam, but against Sabaditsch-Wolff, that the charge of incitement is laid, by way of regulations directed against non-Muslims. When it became clear in the course of the trial that a conviction for incitement was not possible (in accordance with legal interpretation at the time), the charge was changed to denigration of religious doctrines. ( § 188 StG)

Bottom Line: Mrs. Sabaditsch-Wolff had to be convicted at all costs. If any further proof is needed, here it is:

Systematic refusal to prosecute denigration of Christianity

Invoking freedom of thought and art, the justice system regularly refuses to prosecute obvious derision and mockery of Christianity and its most sacred persons — derision and mockery which are devoid of any
factual basis and far exceed any “excessive evaluation” to say nothing of criticism.

Such derision and mockery are also frequently propagated “publicly and legally” and sometimes even subsidized as “art.” To give just a recent example: In December 2011, a so-called “Blasphemous Christmas Fair” took place for the second time in Vienna. A presentation explicitly targeting § 188 StG, in the erroneous belief that it would protect Christianity. Radio ORF — legally financed by fees required of the public — reported on it precisely on Christmas Eve in its “cultural broadcast,” Austria 1.

Bottom line: In abuse of §188 StG, the Austrian “rule of law” protects Islam and its Prophet from “denigration, but does not protect Christianity from derision and mockery. The more perverse and ominous the doctrines and the more intolerant the adherents of the religion in question are, so much greater is the protection of the Austrian “constitutional state.” Truth as evidence is out of style and the door is open to extortion.

Iron Curtain Transformed Into Iron Hijab

Twenty years after the fall of the Wall. we must unfortunately confirm that the Iron Curtain did not fall, but moved west and changed to the Iron Hijab. Freedom of expression ends where Islam begins. Lies are already reasons of state and the law is a Potemkin Village. With this verdict, the Austrian “constitutional state” has become an accomplice of the OIC and the enforcer of the most important of all sharia provisions — “No one may criticize Islam and its Prophet. Everyone must worship him.”

The Austrian “constitutional state” allegedly dedicated to human rights is protecting, of all people, a “Prophet” who treacherously had his critics murdered and thus delivered all his future critics to being shot down — up to the present day — Salman Rushdie (The Satanic Verses), Van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali (Submission), the Pope (Regensburg speech), Robert Redeker (article in Le Figaro), Kurt Westergaard (Danish Cartoons), Wilders (Fitna) — just the best-known.

Not only the Islam critic, but also religious peace is threatened. This is a glimpse into the Islamic world, where state regulations on blasphemy have become a deadly weapon in the hands of Islamic fanatics and loosed a spiral of religious violence. A prime example is Pakistan where more than a thousand charges have been made since the introduction of state blasphemy regulations under Zia ul-Haq. Virtually all of them were made with complaints created out of whole cloth, which have become crazier and more absurd. But once in the crosshairs of the law and publicly exposed, the accused is under sentence of death even when set free.

Against this murderous background, the Austrian “constitutional state” has already made the preferring of charges an injustice.

Nach Meinung des Gerichts sei die Diffamierung Mohammeds der primäre Zweck eines Seminars gewesen und nicht der, Faktenwissen über den Islam bereitzustellen.

Daher sei das Seminar kein bedeutender Beitrag zur Diskussion gewesen, der für die Öffentlichkeit von Interesse wäre, sondern stattdessen verfolge es den Hauptzweck der Diffamierung Mohammeds als Pädo. Das Gericht betrachtet den Fall als Balance zwischen Religionsfreiheit und dem Recht auf Meinungsfreiheit in Bezug auf Artikel 9 und 10 der Menschenrechtskonvention. Das schriftliche Urteil liegt noch nicht vor. Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff wird nun vor den Europäischen Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte ziehen!
