Koran : "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you" (Sure 2:190).
Bible : "But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:43,44).
Koran: "No Muslim should be killed for killing a kafir (Non-Muslim)". ( Al Bukhari Vol. 9:50)
Bible: "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12).
What is the meaning of holy war in the Bible and the Koran?
Could it be that the Moslems and the Christians have the same God? How it is possible that love and hate can flow from the same heart? The Bible said, “Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water” (James 3:11).
Is it true what some Moslems say, that Islam is the religion of peace and love?!
History shows us a different view of that lie. Wherever Islam spreads its beliefs, we see killing and hate in the name of God; and the foundation of that hate is the Koran itself. Since 700 A.C., millions of Christians have suffered under the Islamic countries. Even today these Christians are often not allowed to build new churches; whereas Moslems are enjoying the freedom to build mosques in western countries.
As an Arab Christian living in the western world, I am able to see things concerning Islam more than the western church can. Islam is a religion that in earlier generations was spread by the sword and by force. In western society it is not possible for the Moslems today to use the same methods which they used in the East; the West today has a stronger military force, so Moslems have to use other methods in order to spread their religion. In using the freedom in western society, the Moslems are building Islamic universities in many countries, Using radio and television stations, and established countless mosques and prayer centres—all of which run under their evil principles of holy war.
In all of the Islamic and Arabic nations except Lebanon, it is unacceptable for a Moslem to change his religion, but it is permissible for someone to covert to Islam.
Holy war in Islam appears in different ways. For example, Moslems behave differently in western society than in their own country, because they are guests. Moslems in Europe and America emphasize human interests and social concern, but it is not their true goal. They hide the true aim of their faith, but if they rule the land according to Islamic law, then "Jizya" (tribute tax) will come on Christians and Jews that will be collected only from them and not from Muslims (Surah 9:29).
When I ask Moslems about the killing which is done in the name of Islam, the answer is, “Well, the Catholic church also killed many people, also the First- and the Second World Wars were led by Christian countries.” My answer is simple, these people are not Christian believers; although they may call themselves Christians, they are not walking according to the teachings of Christ. When Moslems kill a non-Moslem, they are following their "great" example, Mohammed.
When Mohammed started his religion, he used to go to their market places, inviting the people of Mecca to Allah. He used to say, "Who will give me a safe shelter, and who will support me till I convey the Message of my Lord (Allah), he will have Paradise." But he could not find anyone to support him.
Later, when he controlled the first city, Al-Madina, Mohammed organised a Muslim army to fight the Makkans and to kill every on who rejected Islam. He had decided that with the sword he will able to Succeed. That is why in the Koran many verses encourage the believers to fight, “Lo! Allah loveth those who battle for his cause in ranks, as if they were solid structure” (Sure 61:4 ). Holy war is the foundation of Islam, it is the spirit in which Mohammed was bound. With this spirit he spread his religion to all the Arabic lands which were formerly Christian countries.
Does the Koran support terrorism?
Let us look together at these verse from the Koran.
“Jihad (holy fighting for Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know” (V.2:216).
“That you believe in Allah and his Messenger (Muhammad) and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives”... (Sure 61:11). “And the reward is, He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in Gardens of Eternity—that is indeed the great success” (Sure 6 1:12). “Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home); except those who are disabled (by injury, or are blind, or lame, etc.) and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and lives above those who sit (at home). Unto each Allah has promised good (Paradise)” (Sure 4:95); “they will dwell therein forever. Verily, with Allah is a great reward” (Sure 9:22). "Let those [believers] who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter, fight in the Cause of Allah; and whosoever fights in the Cause of Allah and is killed or gets victory, we shall bestow on him a great reward" (Sure 4:74).
The Bible clearly said, “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). Our holy war is not against flesh and blood, but against satanic forces which are blinding the eyes of the people. God loves the world so much and He does not want any one to perish but comes to repentance (II Peter 3:9). Satan is the true enemy.
Are terrorists saved from Hell?
Koran: "Anyone whose both feet get covered with dust in Allah's Cause will not be touched by the Hellfire" (Vol. 4, Hadlth No. 66).
Bible: “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were in our transgression, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:4).
The only way for the Moslems to be saved from hell is to commit suicide in the cause of his god “And if you are slain or die, in the way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all they could amass. And if ye die, or are slain Lo! it is unto Allah ye are brought together” (Sure 3:157,158).
; but the only true God have loved us and gave us a new life by His grace, and even He has poured that same love in our hearts in order to enable us to love our enemies.
Mohammed, among other things, promised his followers houris (Beautiful Virgin Women) “They will recline (with ease) upon couches arranged in ranks; and We shall wed them to Maidens, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes” (Sure 52:20), “Whom no man or Jinn (Demon) before them has touched” (Sure 55:72).
Mohammed said, "Before long, you (the Arabs) will conquer many countries and cities. Qazvin, shall be one of such places. The person who takes part in that battle for forty nights or forty days, will be given a gold pillar in paradise encrusted with jades and rubies. He will enjoy residing in a palace, having seventy thousand gates, and each gate shall be attended by a houri as his wife." (Ibn-E-Majah, Vol. 2, p. 169)
Mohammed said: "A martyr (in Jehad) is dressed in radiant robes of faith: he is married to houries and is allowed by Allah to intercede for seventy men (i.e. he is authorized by God to recommend seventy men for entry into paradise, and his intercession is sure to be granted.) (Ibn-E-Majah, Vol. 2, p. 174)
Mohammed said: "If a man participates in a Jehad for only as long as it takes to milk a she-camel, he becomes entitled to paradise." (Ibn-E-Majah, Vol. 2, p. 173)
Paradise lies under the shades of swords. (Albokhari, Vol. 4)
There will be so much pornography in Heaven that makes not just the followers of Mohammed exited, but even some demons; as it is written, “It has been revealed that a company of Jinns [demons] listened [to the Koran]. They said, 'We have really heard a wonderful Recital! It gives guidance to the Right, and we have believed therein: we shall not join [in worship] any [gods] with our Lord'” (Sure 72:1,2).
According to the Bible, heaven is the most holy place, and it is the city of our Holy God and king. It is a place where righteousness dwells, a land where the believers will worship God who had redeemed them from the corruption of this present world.
According to the Koran, heaven is the place that all what was forbidden in this evil world suddenly is allowed in the house of God. The sin which was forbidden in the world ruled by Satan, is allowed in the presence of the Holy God. In the Koran, Heaven is nothing more than the sexual wishes and dreams of Mohammed, and He promised it to the murders who have killed themselves and caused other people to be killed through their suicide act.
How it is possible that this God who is righteous and just will reward the murderer by letting him dwell in paradise, may it never be, but as it is written in Revelation 22:15 “Outside [in hell] are the dogs and the murders and the idolaters…”.
“Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20)
