The chairman of the Reykjavík environment and planning board, Páll Hjaltason, has said that the board’s promise to grant the Association of Muslims in Iceland a plot of land in Sogamýri on which to build a mosque will be met.

The land was approved for the purpose in January of this year.

The Association plans to build a mosque with a nine-meter high minaret, though the final design will be decided upon in cooperation with municipal authorities and the Association of Icelandic Architects, ruv.is reports.

The mosque, which will be 800 square meters, will function as a community center, library and large prayer room.

According to the head of the Association of Muslims in Iceland, Sverrir Agnarsson, it is hoped that construction can begin next year. Construction costs are expected to be ISK 400 million (USD 3 million, EUR 2.4 million).

There are two Muslim associations in Iceland, the Muslim Association of Iceland, which, according to Statistics Iceland, has 465 members, while the Muslim Cultural Centre in Iceland has 305 members.

The mosque will be the first in Iceland.

The city of Reykjavík has decided that it can only give one plot of land for building a mosque, although two separate Muslim groups want one. The chairman of the Muslim Society of Iceland says the situation is “like asking the national church to be with the Jehovah’s Witnesses”.

Fréttablaðið reported that Anna Kristinsdóttir, the director of human rights for the city, said that there are indeed two separate Muslim groups in Iceland: the Muslim Society of Iceland numbering 373 members, and another group numbering 218. Both groups have asked for their own plot of land on which they intend to build their own mosques.

The response from the city, however, has been that the two groups are too small to each get their own plot, and should therefore share one. “We have of course not asked the two groups to combine into one,” she said in part, “but that they could possibly form an umbrella organisation, under which they can operate separately.”

Karim Askari, the chairman of the latter Muslim group, told Fréttablaðið that he wasn’t against sharing a mosque with the Muslim Society of Iceland. Salmann Tamimi, the society’s chairman, disagrees, pointing out that his group has waited 12 years for a mosque of their own, and that the city is responding as if all Muslims believe the same things and worship in the same way.

“Our application is completely different from theirs,” Salmann said in part. “This is like asking the national church to be with the Jehovah’s Witnesses.”

As neither the city nor the Muslim Society of Iceland do not seem to want to budge on the matter, the issue is deadlocked for the time being.

Het lijkt erop dat de mensen in IJsland overwegend positief staan tegenover immigratie uit moslimlanden, afgaande op het bericht Close to 90 Percent of Icelanders Willing to Accept Refugees en More than 11,000 Icelanders offer to house Syrian refugees to help European crisis.

Het is uiteraard nobel om mensen in nood te willen helpen en vooral niet-moslims die op de vlucht zijn voor islamitische terreur. De meeste vluchtelingen zullen echter moslim zijn en dat betekent een groei van het islamitische deel der bevolking met problemen die meekomen met de propaganda voor de islam. Het islamitische deel der bevolking was in IJsland tot nu toe relatief laag, namelijk 0,27 procent. Dat betekent uiteraard ook dat problemen met moslimgemeenschappen in IJsland ook nog relatief gering zijn. Dat verklaart wellicht de geringe weerstand die er in IJsland onder de bevolking lijkt te zijn tegen immigratie uit moslimlanden.

De regering zegt: illegaal is illegaal dus pakken we je op en zetten je uit. Heel normaal want je kan geen asiel aanvragen als je via een veilig (EU)land binnenkomt.
Hier zie je er twee spartelend opgepakt worden en uit een kerk gevoerd. Een kerk vol met Christelijke do-good-ers (30) en lieden die er ook "illegaal" uitzien.

Disease Infected Migrant Comes To Iceland, Infects At Least 20 Women With HIV, And He Is Still Getting Citizenship

In a shock move, a migrant from Africa gave at least 20 women in Iceland HIV. Right now he has been taken into custody but they still are processing his refugee asylum request according to a recent report:

• The man arrested yesterday on the suspicion of having infected numerous young women with the HIV virus claims that he did not know that he was HIV positive. The man is an asylum seeker in Iceland.
  
  This has been confirmed by his lawyer Guðmundína Ragnarsdóttir who is appealing a verdict of a four-week long custody.
  
  Ragnarsdóttir cannot confirm at this time whether or not the man underwent the neccessary medical examinations required by asylum seekers. Another lawyer is processing his asylum application.
  
  Two women have been confirmed to have been infected with the virus and nearly twenty more are awaiting test results.
  
  According to Kristín Völundardóttir at the Directorate of Immigration, an asylum seeker has between 1 to 5 days after he has sought asylum in Iceland until he is summoned for a medical examination. bron

What this man did was evil, and what the society is doing by ostensibly allowing him to stay in Iceland is also evil. However, there is also another evil here that nobody is talking about because nobody dares to ask the question: How did he sleep with 20 or more different women?

If these women were actually raped in the real sense of the word- that he forced himself to have sex with them against their will- it would be in the news. After all what could be a better story today? Again this has nothing to do with justifying their actions, but given how intense the situation in Europe is with the migrants and how there is such a wave of well-earned dislike for them, if this was an actual case of rape something would have been said by now about it.

This means we have to conclude the obvious fact- these women were choosing to sleep with this man. They were not raped or assaulted. They willingly opened their legs to him when he asked him to, and not only that, these women allow him to ejaculate inside of them. Not just one woman did this, but at least 20 different women at least 20 different times.

Ze krijgen bij hun protest de steun van kardinaal Reinhard Marx, de baas van de katholieke kerk in de Europese Unie. Hij noemt het wetsvoorstel een “gevaarlijke aanval” op de godsdienstvrijheid. “Het criminaliseren van de besnijdenis is een ingrijpende maatregel die grote zorgen baart”, zegt hij.

Als religie om de hoek komt kijken, zijn kinderrechten niet relevant meer.

De motivatie achter het wetsontwerp is dat de besnijdenis de rechten van jonge jongens schendt en in strijd is met de rechten van het kind, zoals die geformuleerd werden door de Verenigde Naties. Er wordt ook een parallel getrokken met vrouwenbesnijdenis, dat al in bijna alle Europese landen verboden is bij wet. [...]
Het ontwerp geeft toe dat ouders het recht hebben om religieuze leiding te geven aan hun kinderen, maar dat dit in geen enkel geval de rechten van het kind kan overstijgen.

Stel je voor dat ouders hun minderjarige kinderen zouden tatoeëren of vol piercings zetten je zou alle Gutmenschen nogal horen huilen. Maar voor de godsdienst is het allemaal wel goed.
