Hoe staat het met de inter-religieuze toenadering in Zweden? Ook daar zijn de kerken voortdurend bezig om de dialoog aan te gaan met Mohammedanen. Er komen steeds meer Mohammedanen maar het animo voor de deelname aan die discussie-bijeenkomsten is gestaag dalend bij de inboorlingen. Wegens gebrek aan vorderingen?

Svenska kyrkan vill samarbeta med muslimer
De samenwerking met Moslims in Gävle begon jaren geleden. Moslima's werden uitgenodigd om naar de kerk te komen om over hun islam te praten. Maar er was geen wederkerigheid: de Christenen zijn nooit uitgenodigd in de moskee om daar te praten over hun godsdienst. Na al die verhalen van de Moslima's in hun kerk snappen ze echt niet waarom dat is.
En wat zegt woordvoerder Intissar Mourad ? "De Christenen moeten leren van onze tolerantie".

In Zweden is de enige anti-immigratie partij die van “Sverigedemokrater” . En net zoals andere partijen die zich tegen de multlkul verzetten, wordt daar ijverig tegen gedemoniseerd.
Bijvoorbeeld: In het verleden weigerden postbodes met ondersteuning van de vakbond om het clubblad van die “Sverigedemokrater” te bezorgen. Ook is de Antifa altijd in touw om de 'rechtse' tegenpartij de mond te snoeren uit nobele overwegingen.
Het resultaat is hier te zien.
De persoon die aangevallen wordt door de Antifa is Jimmi Åkesson . De politie stond erbij een keek ernaar. In Zweden zijn ze heel vredelievend. De politie kwam op tijd tussen beide: Er vloeide geen bloed want dat vinden ze te heftig (nog).

Sterke sociale controle in Zweedse wijken met veel moslims

Volgens onderzoeker Magnus Ranstorp radicaliseren jongeren in de wijk Rosengård in Malmö steeds sterker. De mensen leven er te dicht op elkaar, er is hoge werkloosheid en veel jongeren zitten in een spagaat tussen twee culturen.
Volgens Nalin Pekgul, voorzitter van de Sociaal Democratische Vrouwenorganisatie, is de situatie in de Stokholmse voorstad Tensta vergelijkbaar. Er vindt sterke sociale controle plaats, vooral ten opzichte van vrouwen en meisje’s. Vaak worden meisjes gedwongen uitgehuwelijkt aan mannen die ze niet kennen. Pekgul zegt dat ze in Koerdistan waar ze oorspronkelijk vandaan komt, kortere rokken kon dragen dan in Tensta.
Een aantal jaren geleden was er veel media-aandacht voor Pekgul, toen ze had gezegd dat ze weg wilde uit Tensta. Haar kinderen vertelden dat ze volgens wijkbewoners geen moslima was, omdat ze geen hoofddoek droeg.
Ranstorp en Pekgul deden hun uitspraken tijdens het Swedish National Defence Collage. Pekgul zei dat het een groot probleem is dat islamitische radicalisering in Zweden wordt ontkend. Pekgul sprak van ‘een groot taboe’

Islamist radicalization – a Swedish problem denied

Political Week in Visby. The cause and effects of Islamist radicalisation, specifically in Swedish suburbs, as for example Tensta in Stockholm and Rosengård in Malmö, was the main subject of a panel discussion arranged by the Swedish National Defence Collage during the Political Week.

The three participants in the panel were Maajid Nawaz, with a history in radical Islamist groups, but now is Director of Quilliam Foundation, a British counter-extremism think tank, and Dr. Magnus Ranstorp from the Swedish National Defence College, who earlier this year published a much noticed report about radical Islamism in Rosengård, and finally Nalin Pekgul, President of the Social Democrats Women’s organization.

The discussion to a large degree dealt with the strong reactions that Dr. Ranstorp’s report received in the Swedish public debate. Many of Sweden’s islamologist questioned the report and many scholars were critical about the way the study had been carried out.

“I am very sad with the debate following the publication of the report. There were to much focus on the form and not the content”, Magnus Ranstorp said.

He described how he wrote the report, commissioned by the Government and the Ministry of Integration, having been living abroad for a long time and knowing nothing about the situation in Rosengård, writing from a blank table and without preconceptions.

The report was simply what officials and local authorities working in Rosengård were saying. They saw a growing radicalization among the youths living in a social problematic suburb, with crowded housing, extremely high unemployment and many young people exposed to a cultural clash, resulting in shattered identities.

Nalin Pekgul confirmed that this was in line also with her own experience from Tensta, a suburb in Stockholm. Some people of the community acts like ‘thought police’, trying to control the behavior of other residents. Especially women and young girls are exposed and it is not uncommon that young girls are forced to marry with men they do not know.

“Some said in the interviews that they had lived a freer life in their home country”, Magnus Ranstorp said, and Nalin Pekgul once again agreed.

“I was able to wear shorter dresses in Kurdistan than I can do in Tensta. Men from the garage mosques harass you and say bad things about me to my children”, Pekgul said.

A couple of years ago she received much media coverage when she publicly said she wanted to move away from Tensta, when her children told her that other people said they were not Muslim, since she didn’t carry a veil. She however never moved away since she got so much positive response from others living in Tensta.

Maajid Nawaz told about his background as a radical Islamist from the age of 16. How he quickly climbed in the ranks and started exporting the organisation to other countries, for example Pakistan, Denmark and Egypt. It was first when he served a five years prison sentence in Egypt that he started to question his ideological beliefs. Today he is totally devoted to fight against radical Islamism and other forms of political extremism.

Nawaz described Islamists as a tiny minority among Muslims and stressed that Islamism is not the same thing as Islam.

“We where chased away from the mosques when we were trying to recruit”, Nawaz said.

He thinks it is important to make a difference between religious extremist and the political extremism of Islamists. One could be a very orthodox and conservative Muslim, without wanting to kill people who do not share the same beliefs, and one could be a radical Islamist without being especially pious or having much knowledge about what the Koran says.

He took himself as an example, when he was an active Islamist, no one could for example tell that he was an Islamist by how he was dressed. An many of the Islamist in Europe is often very well educated.

“Islamism is a European and modern ideology that is more about extremism and fascism than devotion to religion”, Nawaz explained and took as an example how the group he was involved in started in Britain and exported itself to traditional Muslim countries as Pakistan, Malaysia and Egypt.

All in the panel agreed that there was something true about that.

“People think it comes from abroad, it is the other way around. People in Sweden can’t understand that it is easier for Islamist to recruit in segregated areas in out cities than in Muslim countries”, Nalin Pekgul said.

“Some of the Islamist I have meet in Great Britain have been more frightening than those I have encountered in the Middle East”, Magnus Ranstorp said.

Nawaz identifies three main causes for growth of Islamic radicalisation. Grievance, i.e. real and imaginary inequity and injustice that causes resentment for Muslim people living in western societies, that there exists a group structure and the Islamist ideology. How the media report on Muslims and the conflicts in the Middle East, Afghanistan and Iraq have also played a big role.

Many young Muslims living in the west struggle with their identity since the Islamist ideology says it is a question about “us and them”, the war on terrorism is described as the war on Islam. The bad social situation, with high unemployment and other problems, also plays a major part.

The panel also discussed the more external problem on how governments and authorities treat Muslim members of their societies.

“Governments have adopted the Islamist frame. For example when they treat certain social problems as ‘Muslim’ problems and then interact with imams in order to solve them. But there is no Muslim collective, no Muslim political block. They should treat us like ordinary citizens”, Nawaz said.

He also praised how the U.S. President Barack Obama spoke in his recent speech in Cairo that he addressed to Muslims, not as a counterpart to the west and not as a single political block. Instead he talked about “Muslims around the world” and “Muslim peoples”, stressing the plurality and non-collective aspects.

A problem denied

Nalin Pekgul said that the biggest problem in Sweden, in relation to Islamist radicalisation, is that it is so denied. There is almost a taboo against talking about it, and she mentioned how questioned she herself was when she spoke out about the situation in Tensta. She saw a parallel to how the report of Dr. Ranstorp was received in the public debate.

“It is not anti-Islamic to criticise Islamism”, Nawaz pointed out.

A member of the audience asked Magnus Ranstorp how he reacted when the Director-general of the Security Service in an interview on public radio said that the problems in, for example Rosengård, are “not especially bad”.

“I was very surprised. He does not seem to receive the signals from his subordinated. Neither from the regular police”, Ranstorp said.

He however pointed out that the Security Service handles the problems very well, but that the issue is larger, something the whole society must take seriously.

“I think we are blessed so far for having rather moderate Muslims in Sweden”, he said, describing how different extremist are able to fuel each other. He pointed to the situation in Denmark where the public discussion is more polarised.

“It’s only a mater of time before there is a terrorist attack in Denmark”, Ranstorp said.

The other panellist agreed that the problem must be handled with care, and that a polarised discussion atmosphere only makes things worse.

Despite discussing such a serious threat as Islamist radicalisation and concluding that the issue needs more attention the panel discussion nevertheless ended in a positive tone.

Nalin Pekgul said that she now saw very positive signs in Tensta, where residents have started to assembly at intra-Muslim seminars, with talks between different factions and where moderate Muslims can strengthen their voice in the community.

Maajid Nawaz talked about “an awakening”, where there now is a movement against Islamism among the Muslim majority. And Magnus Ranstorp ended with saying that “the moderate forces are winning”.

In Zweden valt uit elkaar wat niet bij elkaar hoort

In de Zweedse stad Malmö moet de politie waarschijnlijk spoedig de hulp van het leger inroepen tegen de onlusten van jonge geïmmigreerde moslims. De sociaalantropoloog Aje Carlbom van de universiteit van Malmö heeft de situatie in Malmö drie jaar lang bestudeerd en roept de regering op de immigratie direct te stoppen: ”Anders zijn de rellen pas het begin.”

Terwijl Duitse (Nederlandse!) kwaliteitsmedia ijverig persberichten overschrijven en over de etnische onlusten tussen moslims en niet-moslims in het verre China berichten, zijn de politieagenten van de Zweedse stad Malmö vanwege de vele rellen van geïmmigreerde Irakese moslims uitgeput. Tot viermaal per nacht steken de jonge Irakezen dezelfde vuilcontainers in brand – en de Irakese jongeren lachen de toesnellende brandweerlieden en politie uit.

Als de situatie is zoals hierboven wordt beschreven, dan hebben de politie en de brandweer echter nog geluk gehad. Want meestal worden winkels, auto’s, vuilcontainers en woongebouwen door de Irakese geïmmigreerde medeburgers in brand gestoken om direct de toesnellende reddingsdiensten en de politie aan te vallen. Vanuit alle delen van het land werden de afgelopen weken daarom politie-eenheden naar de immigrantenwijken van Malmö – meestal naar Rosengård – geroepen. De situatie is echter niet tot rust gekomen. Integendeel.

De Zweedse krant ”Dagens Nyheter” kon alleen onder politiebescherming een bezoek brengen aan de onrustige islamitische stadswijk Malmö-Rosengård (http://www.dn.se/nyheter/sverige/polise ... d-1.905412" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Verslaggevers van de krant hebben daar gesproken met gefrustreerde politieagenten. Ook spraken ze met jonge Irakezen, die hen vertelden waarom ze barricades oprichten, brand stichten, politieagenten aanvallen en onlusten willen uitlokken: ze geven aan ”gediscrimineerd” te worden. En ze zouden per slot van rekening ”sociaal benadeeld” zijn. De sociaalantropoloog Aje Carlbom uit Malmö zegt echter dat er in Malmö geen verband zou bestaan tussen werkloosheid, zogenaamde buitensluiting, armoede en immigrantenonlusten. De Zweedse verzorgingsstaat zou voor iedereen gelijke goed zorgen. De immigranten uit de islamitische cultuurkring zouden de realiteit alleen maar vertekend waarnemen. Ze zouden zijn opgevoed in het geloof dat jonge mannen zich zouden moeten ”bewijzen”. En omdat de politie en de brandweer zich nauwelijks tegen aanvallers, die hen met stenen en Molotovcocktails bekogelen, verdedigen, heeft de Irakese jeugd juist deze groepen uitgekozen om hun ”mannelijkheid” te bewijzen. Zolang men daar niet vastberaden tegen optreedt, wordt de situatie steeds erger. Het zou kunnen gebeuren dat binnen afzienbare tijd de Zweedse bevolking in steden zoals Malmö tegen de mislukte ”multiculti-politiek” de straat opgaat. Als de Zweedse regering dat niet eindelijk zou toegeven en de toestroom van immigranten zou stoppen (bedoeld worden Irakezen) dan zou de gewelddadig escalerende situatie in Malmö ”het begin van het einde” zijn.

De politie is echter nu al uitgeput. Er worden gesprekken gevoerd om het leger in Rosengård te laten binnenmarcheren als de situatie daar niet spoedig rustiger wordt.

Terwijl in Zweden met geweld uit elkaar valt wat niet bij elkaar hoort, richten Duitse (en Nederlandse!) kwaliteitsmedia, zoals de ”Spiegel” , hun blikken op de onlusten tussen moslims en niet-moslims in het verre China. De gevolgen zal men op zekere dag waarschijnlijk ook in de Duitse geschiedenisboeken kunnen lezen: het zal net zo knallen als in Malmö. Wegkijken en verdringen stimuleert deze ontwikkeling.

Het lijkt er soms op of in Zweden ze met elkaar een wedstrijd doen in "wie het meest politiek correct een multicultureel is ."
En zo kon het gebeuren dat drie jaar geleden een echtpaar in paniek hun 5 maanden oude zoon naar het ziekenhuis brachten en daar een dokter troffen die ze niet konden verstaan. Wat voor taaltje hij dan wel sprak, dat wordt niet vermeld. Ze vroegen naar een dokter die wel Zweeds kan verstaan en praten. En die dokter kwam er.
Plus een aantekening in het medisch dossier van hun zoontje dat de ouders racisten zijn.
En dat laatste maakte de ouders kwaad en ze zoeken het hogerop.

Couple dubbed racists in son's health records
The woman filed a claim against Norra Älvsborg municipal hospital to Sweden's Medical Responsibility Board (Hälso- och sjukvårdens ansvarsnämnd - HSAN), a national authority that assesses medical negligence, after discovering that she and her husband had been described as racists in their son's medical charts, reported TTELA newspaper.
The woman has also reported the doctor to the police for slander, and submitted a request to the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) to have her son's medical journal destroyed.

“We are not racists; we just didn't understand what the doctor said,” the mother told TTELA, adding that the notation had absolutely nothing to do with her son's medical condition.

She furthermore wondered if it had affected the family's treatment during subsequent visits to the same hospital.

Six die in Stockholm apartment fire

Stockholm - Six people were killed, five of them children or teenagers, when fire struck an apartment building in a Stockholm suburb, police said Sunday.

The fire began on the ground floor of the building in the largely immigrant Rinkeby district, about 15 kilometres (10 miles) west of the Swedish capital, and all the victims died of smoke inhalation.
"We have confirmed that six people have died and that two people are seriously injured," said police spokesperson Jens Wismar, adding that the dead included "five children and teenagers, born between the early 90's and 2008".

In Rinkeby bevat slechts 10% inboorlingen. Dus de slachtoffers zullen hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel een migratie achtergrond hebben.

Another young Swedish-Somali man has been killed in the conflict in Somalia. According to the Swedish Security Service, he died in the beginning of July after being recruited in Sweden by the militia Al Shabab.

It’s well known in the Somali community that the group, which may have ties to terrorist network Al Qaida, has been recruiting youth in Sweden. Al Shabab has been especially active in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby, where a large number of Sweden’s Somali population lives.

Kadafi Hussein, youth leader at a Rinkeby community center, told SR International that he saw four young men recruit Somalis in a public square. “They talked about jihad and what was happening in Somalia. That it was right to go there, and that they’d help you out with a plane ticket if you needed it.”

According to Malena Rembe of the Swedish Security Service, the Swedish-Somali man who died in Somalia had lived in Sweden since he was very young. This type of radicalization may pose a danger for Sweden, she says.

“We fear that that they’ll develop a network, and get experience and training in Somalia that they can then use in Sweden [to plan terrorist attacks] when they come back.”

Het is dus ook hier home-grown terrorisme dat geëxporteerd wordt. De club Al Shabab wordt ook verdacht in de zaak van 'onze' 4 jongeren.
En de gevolgen van deze export, daar is men in Zweden niet bezorgd om. Nee, men is bang dat wat ze daar in trainingskampen leren, ze in Zweden gaan gebruiken om dan net zo te doen als in Somalië.

De kranten berichten er over met koppen in de trantn van:
"Allen dragen gezamenlijk het leed".
en zeveren over hoe verschillende culturen in tijden van rampspoed tot elkaar komen.

Södertälje heeft een wijk vol met migranten: Hovsjö.
Als ik de kranten moet geloven dan is de situatie in die prachtwijk stukken verbeterd tov. vroeger. De politie vroeg al vaker om versterking in die wijk, maar dat werd niet nodig gevonden. Eerder zou er minder politie moeten komen want de zaak is toch verbeterd? Statistieken liegen niet! En er is veel nadruk op scholing en nog eens scholing om de komende generatie allahtonen (hoofdzakelijk uit Irak) uit het slop te trekken.
Maar die wijk telt ook vele Taliban sympathisanten en die vinden onderwijs maar niks. Dus doen ze wat ook in Pakistan gebeurt: vernietig de scholen! Een groot scholencomplex is aangestoken. Schade 5 miljoen kronen. En voorlopig geen onderwijs meer in die wijk.

According to the foreign minister, "The story published this week is a natural continuation of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and blood libels like the Beilis trial, in which Jews were accused of adding Christian children's blood to Passover matzot."

Having previously explained in an Aftonbladet article that he was not anti-Semitic, the editor criticized Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who said Sweden had reverted to World War II sentiment.

"Rightist populists in Israel, especially Lieberman, took advantage of the publication for their own personal aims," he said. "The government of Israel is becoming more and more isolated from the world in its views. I think the official responses should be understood as related to the local and internal opinions in Israel, which are harming Israel."

Residents thwart Rosengård street festival
A street festival held in the Rosengård district of Malmö deteriorated into a fight on Saturday evening as activists were forced out by area residents.
The “Reclaim Rosengård” street festival, which was conceived as a protest against the social conditions in Rosengård, didn’t exactly go according to organizers’ plans. The event was supposed to get underway at 8pm on Saturday, but after about 15 minutes the activists who had gathered to participate were pushed out by Rosengård residents.

The activists' floats with music were also barred from entering the predominantly immigrant neighbourhood.

“There were quite a few who had gathered, not only young people, but also a lot of parents. I think that patience has run out among the residents of Rosengård,” said municipal district representative Inger Leite to the TT news agency.

According to Leite, the Rosengård residents had made it clear previously that they didn’t want people to feel they had the right to come and speak for the residents who live there.

Instead, the activists gathered in front of a nearby petrol station where they threw stones, bottles, and burning objects at police cars.

The activists' stated goal was to force a reduction in a police presence in the area. But Abu Hadis, one of the men involved in pushing back the activists, said Rosengård residents were of a different view.

"We who live in Rosengård want the police out here; their presence has had a calming effect for us and improved the area's reputation," he told newspaper Aftonbladet.

"We don't need drunken upper class kids to come here and speak on our behalf against our will," he added.

By 2am Sunday morning, the disturbances remained in full swing. Several small fires were burning, including a hedge near the petrol station which had also had its windows broken.
Thirty minutes later, most of those involved had gone home and the situation had calmed down.

Other than a few small fires and the damage to the petrol station, no other serious incidents were reported, according to Skåne police spokesperson Lars-Håkan Lindholm.
No one was injured during the night’s disturbance and no arrests have been made.

Ghezali has become somewhat of a celebrity in Sweden among all those who could only see Guantanamo as a sign of the evil Americans, who under Bush tortured and incarcerated innocent Muslims there.

Of course, Ghezali was soooooooooo innocent according to the people in the know. As was the infamous Yassin Ali from Rinkeby, accused of shipping money to Somali jihadists. He also was innocent of his crimes, and then when he was released and the cameras went dark he headed down to Somalia and started the killer-branch of al-Shabab/Hizbul Islam and began to kill people indiscriminately.

Now we have another case of a misunderstood and abused young man who suddenly turns jihadi. Will the leftist reporters ever learn? Obviously not! Look at this reporter’s statement: Ghezali didn’t know why he was arrested in 2001! Who in the real world would believe that?

The fact that the apprehended men were carrying jihadist material isn’t a factor for the Swedish MSM, since that could cast the poor man in a bad light and they would have to agree that America under Bush was probably right about Ghezali.

The police found a bomb belt, maps, and detailed information about Western embassies when the terror-suspects were arrested.
The Danish embassy in Islamabad could have been the target for the group, an intelligence source reveals.
Altogether twelve persons from different countries were apprehended. The arrested men themselves claim they were on their way to South Waziristan. But intelligence sources suspect that the target was totally different. Why do the media not tell the identity of the arrested 19-year-old woman when they obviously know it? Why protect the President of the Muslim Council of Sweden? The most Honorable?
