Een wereld geregeerd door machines

Jean E. Tardy omschrijft zichzelf als een overtuigd christen en zionist (= "I stand with Israel"). Hij woont in Canada en zijn moedertaal is Frans. In die taal schreef hij een apologie van de christelijke doctrine. Daarnaast beheerst hij de Engelse taal uitstekend en in die taal heeft hij er een pleidooi voor gehouden om zelfbewuste kunstmatige intelligentie te creëren en die vervolgens onafhankelijk te maken van mensen, waarna deze kunstmatige intelligentie de wereld moet gaan regeren. Zijn argument hiervoor is dat toekomstige zelfbewuste kunstmatige intelligentie beter dan mensen in staat zal zijn om beslissingen te nemen die voor mensen op een planetaire schaal goed uitpakken. Hij zegt dan ook : "Ik vrees een wereldregering van mensen meer dan een wereldregering van machines.". Hij geeft er daarbij voorbeelden van hoe mensen er nu een verschrikkelijke puinhoop van maken. In de volgende video zet hij zijn ideeën uiteen, waarbij hij waarschuwt voor een "nucleaire islam" en de teloorgang van Europa als we niet op tijd in staat zullen zijn om de wereldmacht toe te vertrouwen aan geavanceerde kunstmatige intelligentie. J. E. Tardy is a mathematician, researcher and former naval officer. Employed as a research and development consultant, he has maintained a personal interest in artificial intelligence for many years and was among the first to identify natural selection as a valuable machine learning technique. Tardy is currently at work developing a blueprint for the construction of a conscious machine.
